The Grief Companions Circle of Care (GCCC)
for Grief Companioning Students and Alumni

As a Grief Companioning student or graduate you are welcomed into The Grief Companions Circle of Care, on ongoing community of learning and support. This community gathering serves multiple purposes: ongoing learning, friendship with colleagues, sharing professional ideas, and an opportunity to engage in spiritual self-care as a Grief Companion. Topics vary from month to month. Sometimes a meeting will feature a guest presenter. Other times we enjoy an immersive experience like creative expression for grief, or engaging in a grief ritual together.
This is a free offering. We'd love to have you join us! Beginning in September 2026, we will meet the 3rd Wednesday (4:00-5:30 ET) and in October, the 4th Tuesday (12:00 - 1:30 p.m. ET). Meeting monthly on alternate dates enables us to serve more of us better!

The GCCC also sponsors two learning intensives each year for students and alumni: The Fall Seminar and The Winter/Spring Seminar. The upcoming Fall Seminar, an afternoon of deepened learning, will be held on Oct. 23. The topic will be: "Holding Space for the Years: Coping with the Invisible Losses of Growing Older." Details forthcoming.
