Course Facilitation and Individual Supervision (Mentorship)
As an interspiritual spiritual director and grief companion, supervisor, educator, and facilitator of creative practice, I believe in the power of deep listening to heal and restore the world, one sacred interaction at a time. Investing in the support of those in vocational ministry– chaplains, hospice staff, social workers, spiritual companions, clergy– I find it a great privilege to care for those who care for the world through my work of spiritual direction.
My practice of supervision offers space for interior exploration of the ways the work of companionship wakes us up first as spiritual beings ourselves, then as guides for others on the journey. This exploration then becomes an organic opening to the perpetual process of finding exactly who we already are as spiritual companions, helping to remove whatever is in the way of our most authentic service in the world.
At The Metta Center, I have created and currently facilitate the winter course, Translating Our Grief, which integrates creative and expressive practices in Grief Companionship, as well as offer Supervision for students of Spiritual Direction and Peer-to-Peer Support for Spiritual Companions. In addition to my work at The Metta Center, I teach in the Wellstreams Program on the Art of Spiritual Direction in Columbus, Ohio.
One-on-one session fee is a sliding scale of $80-$120, discerned with the student based on their individual financial capacity.
